We have the most advanced Chassis Dyno in the Rocky Mountain Region and the
West Coast. Up to 1750 Horsepower at the wheel & 800HP sustained and up to 225 miles per hour with Data Acquisition Options
available featuring "Virtual InertiaTM Technology."
Rates: Dyno time per half hour: $75/half hour for the first
2 hours, $70/half hour from there. Dyno Tuner’s labor is $90/hr in addition to Dyno time. Front or rear wheel drive. Slicks
OK. Data Acquisition options are extra. (See list below.) All runs can be saved in memory for future comparisons &
printed in color.
These are some different kinds of dyno runs available with leased time...
Acceleration
tests… To find horsepower & torque curves against rpm & speed
• Virtual InertiaTM simulations (takes into consideration
the forces that act on your car.) Weight, aerodynamics, mass & motion of the vehicle under test to provide more real world
test results. • Full throttle high gear roll on (select your starting and ending RPM) • Quarter mile sprint (launch,
tach up & shift your car down a simulated 1/4 mile track) to get 60ft, 330ft, 1/8 mile, 1000 ft, 1/4 mile E.T. & MPH •
Passing acceleration tests, select starting & ending speeds (40 mph to 70) • Standing start acceleration tests (e.g. 0
to 60 mph) selectable. • Running start 200-yard roll on (accelerate as hard as you can through a selectable 200-yard window)
the vehicle experiences the same loading it would experience on a flat, windless road. Max speed & time at 200 yds. • Speedometer
check • Catalytic converter back pressure test • Parasitic losses test (findings can be saved, then retests can be compared
to determine if driveline is still healthy or needs work) • Horsepower & torque curves up to 1750 HP at the wheels & 225
mph – the most of any Chassis Dyno Loaded mode tests… • Up to 400 wheel HP sustained • (To simulate various road,
aerodynamic & inertial characteristics of the vehicle at different loads & speeds for diagnostic & tuning purposes) • Vehicle
simulation tests (Virtual InertiaTM) • IM240 drive trace (duplicates the emission test dyno run) with 5 gas analysis &
diagnostics dedicated to the dyno run • Volumetric efficiency Indication (find out if your carb is too small. It probably
is) • Catalytic converter efficiency test (don’t replace that cat if it’s OK) • Ignition system integrity tests (state
of the art scope can save & print) • Air fuel ratio monitor tests (useful for perfecting the driveability of fuel injected
and carbureted vehicles) • Maximum power & torque ignition timing test • Torque converter tests (see if you have the
launch stall & slippage you need, or not.) • Lug down test (go to top speed under no load, then place selectable loads
on the vehicle, to slow it down step by step. Like going up a mountain at full throttle without getting a speeding ticket) •
Track lap simulation (programmable up & down loads can be placed on the vehicle. e.g. to recreate going into and out of corners).
Useful for endurance testing, etc. • Constant loading & constant speed tests (programmable)
Data acquisition
options… To find out if you’re too rich or too lean & by exactly how much. With precision & no guessing. Among other
things:
• RPM pickup, inductive or optical (included with Dyno time) • Air fuel ratio meter (wide band Lambda meter
with engineering grade accuracy) Not an O2 sensor! There’s a big difference. $33 • 5 gas analyzer. CO, HC, O2, CO2 &
NOX (dedicated to the dyno run & printable.) $55 • Ignition scope (patterns can be saved & printed) $35 • Lab scope
(up to 6 channels can be viewed, printed simultaneously) $35 • Timing light (advancing, inductive, printable & accurate)
$12 • 1 or 2 exhaust gas temp. monitors (learn what temp you’re exhaust needs to be for maximum horsepower) $27 + $23 to
install each • Manifold absolute pressure transducer (intake vacuum & boost) $12 + install • Fuel pressure transducer
(find out if your fuel system is up to task) $12 + • Weather station (for giving SAE corrected HP & torque data) included
with Dyno time • Detonation sensor (ping) $10 + $12 to install
